Motley Crue was one of the more popular hard rock bands in the 80s and one of the many bands, which helped to define pop metal.  The band was formed by bassist Nikki Sixx, along with drummer Tommy Lee.  Soon thereafter, the Crue were joined by Vince Neil on vocals and Mick Mars on lead guitar.  It seems hard to believe in today’s day and age, but Motley Crue has sold over 80 million albums worldwide, and helped to make 80s songs among the most popular in music history, even today.

The music was as much about the hard living lifestyle of an 80s rocker as much as the tunes themselves.  Motley Cure definitely delivered with their over the edge style, which in many eyes, is sorely missed in today’s music scene.
