There have been plenty of times when I have been told that I do a great job in my field, but I didn’t know how great it really was until I just got an award the other day. There was an award given that looked at the businesses of all the Birmingham accountants, and I was the one chosen to receive the award. Needless to say, I was surprised and honored when I accepted the award. I just wish I would have known ahead of time so I could have dressed better for the occasion. I just had no idea I was going to be in front of everyone.
