Taking your partner for granted
Relationships are not ‘set and forget’. A common mistake is to take your partner for granted. This can happen after a week, a month or a couple of years but eventually you’ll notice that you start to take your partner for granted and stop doing the little things that attracted them in the first place. The key is to be aware that this cycle happens and be prepared to do something about it when it does. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that your relationship is so strong that it would never happen to you. It’s not a reflection on you personally it’s just a human condition. Don’t dwell on the why, think instead on how to fix the problem. Being positive and thinking of solutions rather than assigning blame will help you move forward and make your relationship stronger.
