For any practicing Muslim, it is an honour to be able to set foot inside the twin minarets of the Juma Musjid, which is a striking feature of Grey Street, situated in Durban. Juma Musjid is one of the largest mosque’s situated in the Southern Hemisphere. It boasts a floor area of 975 square metres and is able to host an assembly of 4500 worshippers! Its intricate architecture is something out of this world, a wondrous creation made by man. This building was built in 1927, and is historical site to visit in Durban.
