What is cellulite?
Cellulite is the alteration on the skin often described as dimples on the thighs, buttocks and sometimes lower abdomen of healthy women. Our bodies are like freeway systems. The excess fat on your skin needs to be directed to certain parts of your body. That’s why women have cellulite on their midsection, thighs and buttocks. How does one get rid of cellulite? When we exercise and eat a less fat, our fat cells from these parts of our bodies are burned or metabolized. The older we get, the slower our metabolism gets. Certain medications or diseases also slow our metabolism or fat burning capacity of our bodies. So now only do we need to eat healthy we also need to incorporate exercise in our lifestyle.
