A couple of years ago, I got married to a nice Italian man. The only problem was that he expected me to cook like his mother does. I am not Italian, but I do know how to cook. He insisted that I learn how to make homemade pasta from his mother. He also wanted me to learn how to make sauces and such from scratch. After a long Saturday spent with his mother learning the finer art of manual pasta making, I decided there had to be a better way. So, I bought a pasta maker. My husband does not know any different. He loves the pasta I make with machine.
