This morning, I woke up to find that there was a dead skunk in my backyard. Thankfully, I had my dogs penned up in another part of the yard. I don’t know what caused it to die there, but I know that I want to get rid of it. There is an awful stench all around my house also. I decided to call Alameda County Animal Control to see if they could remove the dead animal from my backyard. They agreed to do so and came to my home within a couple of hours. I was so happy when they took the skunk away.
