The Fencing Scene in Die Another Day
One of the best action scenes in Die Another Day has got to be the fencing scene between James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) and Gustave Graves. What starts out as a testosterone driven duel, turns into an all out battle that destroys most of the fencing school. I don’t know much about fencing so I am not sure if the scene was technically accurate, but I was still impressed with the fencing. (Okay, so maybe I was more impressed with Pierce Brosnan’s looks than his sword skills.) Also, did you know that Madonna actually appeared in a cameo role as one of the instructors?
