Can hackers use cookies?
You know that cookies were misused by hackers in the past. You’ve answered, “How do websites use cookies?” and know that today, only websites use first-party cookies and hackers can’t get past modern Internet security to the cookies. But, isn’t there always someone smart enough to crack a code? Think of it this way: When have you actually heard recently about hackers using cookies? The stories are always about viruses and trojan horses, not cookies. Also, give modern Internet security its due: For example, even a supercomputer would take 149 trillion years to decipher an AES 128-bit encryption. There’s really no reason at all to believe your cookies aren’t safe.
