When my husband and I travel I enjoy each country’s buildings as much as the countryside.

As the daughter of a builder, I really appreciate the different style homes found in the world.

During our travels we have stayed in Italian hotels, Parisian apartments, and Bali private villas, just to name a few.

I’ve learned to love the feeling of waking up in a new country and looking forward to a day of discovering the beautiful building I’m staying in, as much as the tourist attractions.

Each country’s houses and hospitality are presented in their own unique way, and that’s half the fun of being there.
